HR Audit Workshop

On the 27th of December 2015, Mr. Sherif Osama gave his second HR Audit course in Egypt. The first was in the AUC. Mr. Sherif is a certified HRCI instructor at hpa, a professional ex international auditor, a part time lecturer at the AUC, and the HR Operations in the United Nations Program.

“The Power of Auditing” is an aspect well known by “established” companies. It’s mainly concerned with financial auditing to ensure financial security and to measure the efficiency of the company. What about “HR Audit”? The “intelligent” companies started asking.

hpa | Highly Professional Advisors ~ an HR training and consulting company located in Cairo that works on analyzing the Egyptian business environment and provide the suitable courses to companies. This time hpa launched an HR Audit course.

Ms. Rehab Gamal – Corporate Business Development Manager of hpa (www.hpa.com.eg) states that after a long comprehensive survey they reached a conclusion that the most demanded and most critical topics of study in the end of 2015 are Appraisal Interview, How to Set KPIs, and HR Audit.

Ms. Rehab also said, “We want to support HR Managers to overcome their end of the year challenges, and auditing is one of them.” And around 95% of the attendees were actually HR managers. One of the attendees was a business woman who is constructing an HR department in her own company for the first time. Ms. Rehab highlights the importance of HR Audit even in small companies and a low number of employees, as long as this company longs to become certified by ISO.

Mr. Sherif Osman states that each HR department has strengths and weaknesses. The mission of the HR Auditor is to highlight and he weaknesses and support the HR department with his/her professional recommendation.

hpa promises to repeat the course again within the next month and continue its message in “supporting the Egyptian business environment”.
