How to live a Balanced Life
How to live a Balanced Life
Live it Balanced, Live it Happy
Are you successful at your work, but you are not happy in your life? Okay, What if you are successful at your work, have a beloved family, nice car, and perfect house but still not happy as you should be? Here’s the secret of happiness, living a balanced life!
Life consists of different aspects, sometimes we focus on one, two, or more aspects while unconsciously ignoring the other ones, resulting in an unbalanced life or in other words not a happy life. That could be explained when you sometimes falsely feel that you have everything perfect in your life, but you are not totally satisfied!!
Now we will discuss the 7 main aspects of life, supported by some tips about how each aspect could be satisfied:
- Spirituality (“Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life” Buddha)
Due to the dynamic and very fast life, we unintentionally forget strengthening our relationship with God, however, each one of us might face hard times in his life, and we feel that there is a need to rely on something stronger than anyone on Earth. Therefore, in order to feel supported, peaceful, and secured we have to maintain this vertical relationship by keeping prayers as well as attending some meditation sessions from time to another.
- Career/Professional Aspect (“You are what you do” Bob Black):
Your career is not only the source of your funds; it’s the reason why you do exist in Life! Also, it’s the most important source of self confidence which formulate the way you see, evaluate and respect your own self. Therefore, choose a career that you enjoy and throughout add value to yourself as well as for the people around you at that time; you will never have to work a day in your life.
- Health & Fitness (“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver” Mahatma Gandhi):
Our health is the most important and scarce resource we do have. Sometimes, hours of stressed work or studying make us ignore our health. Thus, try on keeping regular exercises even on a weekly basis, which will make you feel more energetic and ready for your new week. Moreover, exercising is one of the main reasons for mood enhancement.
- Family (“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them” Desmond Tutu)
You will never feel successful unless you are making your family feeling happy. Also, in your family you will find the unconditional love you need to feel, as they love you just because of you. Keep time for them, listen to them, play, joke, even share what happened to you at your work with them. Also, another important point; please leave your mobile checking your social media, and remember it is called Social!!
- Social (“Friendship is a sheltering tree” Samuel Taylor Coleridge)
Maybe you are a successful at your work, perfect family guy, but you are not in contact with your peers and friends. Try to keep in contact with them, set a weekly gathering with them, and share your memories, repeated old storied, as well as your problems with each other. That will make you feel beloved, relaxed, and ready to start your new week. If you don’t have time for that or even outside your home country, technology is nowadays providing several different tools of communication.
- Financial (“A good financial plan is a road map that shows us exactly how the choices we make today will affect our future” Alexa Von Tobel) Balanced Life
Remember that you are working to live not living to work. You have to reward yourself and compensate your surroundings with your fully loaded hours of work. Thus, plan to have a long term financial plan to achieve the financial independence; where you could have sufficient personal wealth to live, without having to work actively for basic necessities, the faster you achieve it, the faster financial independent you become. Balanced Life
- Personal (“You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world” Lucille Ball)
Sometimes, while busy working on improving your career, satisfying your family needs, and being good to your friends; you forget very important thing; yourself!!
Be careful, you will never be successful at satisfying other life aspects unless you satisfy yourself. Have a daily, weekly, or monthly me-time; spend time doing thing/s that you really enjoy rather than doing things for other people, this will help you to renew your mind, body, and spirit.
